Today in class we went over the Simple Present and Present Progressive verbs, as well as the Frequency Adverbs.
Examples:
Simple Present: Do you cook in your kitchen?
Present Progressive: Are you cooking in your kitchen tonight?
The students split up into groups of two and had picture cards. Based on the items on their cards, they asked each other questions in simple present as well as present progressive.
Attached is a link to the Power Point slides we used in class, which are great aides in explaining the rules and showing pictures, graphs, as well as practice exercises. Please feel free to browse through the slides as often as you want or need to in order to properly understand the rules.
